Speaker 1 (0s): Good morning both and bow ties. Now look, I don't even remember what I titled this video I. think it was y'all like being outraged or something like that. Let me just say that I need to talk to the black woman for a second. So if you're not black, I mean you can listen in, but I want the black people to lean in, lean all the way in I. think what you guys need to do. you know how I say it? Like if I don't want to like claim the shenanigans, I'd be like you guys, even though I'm still part of the green, but look, you guys, you need to figure out what your messaging is, okay?

You need to figure out the messaging. What message are you trying to send to everyone? Because on the one hand we're getting, we want the soft, like you want to be unbothered, we want to be single, we want all these things and I'm here for all of it. But then on the other hand, all it takes is one thing for y'all to get triggered. From what I've seen, I didn't even get a chance to see much of it yesterday.

I was so tired. I had my back was doing something there. On the one hand, we've got women who want to, to get into it with people who, they call it the diaspora war. Okay? So this is one of the issues that, there's several things I wanted to talk about. One is the diaspora issues. Black women do not get out here on these apps arguing with other black women from the diaspora.

We've got some, let me tell you something. You got women who are from all parts of the diaspora and from the the motherland. You got a lot of dumb, dumb black women here in the United States too. Those living in the uk, those living in the Caribbean, and those who come from Africa, let's be clear. So what we're not gonna do is sit here and engage some of the women who are from other parts of of the world who look like us And. They wanna argue with us because what they're doing is disingenuous too.

I wanna make it clear black women from the United States, cut it out, cut it out. If you see someone who wants to argue with you from the UK and try to tell you about your experience, what you see, what you understand, definitions of blackness and everything else, don't engage that because they need you for engagement. They absolutely would rather come and take you out for engagement. Now, do I have love for people who look like me but come from other lands?

I most certainly do, but what we don't want to do is engage in the shenanigan. See, when I see the shenanigan, shenanigan, because I made that word up, I don gauge that. There was a woman from the UK who was talking about blackness, right? Getting on black women from the United States about what is considered black. How we use the word black. Over here, I think has different meaning. For example, if you're, if you're in South Africa, they'll use the word colored for those who are of mixed race heritage.

If you're biracial or multiracial over here, the word colored has different connotation, right? So when you have somebody who was not from here trying to talk to you about how we understand, how we view blackness, don't engage that. Let her be out on an island all by herself talking about black American women. The fact of the matter is black American women are not, you know, press to define things for other people around the world.

We got our own problems. So the issue I, I have with black Americans is when someone gets out on these apps and says some dingling things, why are you in? Oh, are you upset? Why are you outraged? Why are you triggered? I feel like some of these people shouldn't, like I can understand if you're engaging earnestly to say, okay, but maybe we should have a discussion on words have meaning, right? Because for us here, blackness is this and what it means, right?

We're probably the most fractured group of people around the world. So because our history has been stolen and kept from us, we used different words that have good meanings and this, that and the other. I would not engage in this whole outrage phenomena. Okay? Let's move on to one of the next things, which seems to always be popping and locking, which is the gender war stuff. Black women need to stop engaging with the shenanigans. I don't get it. I feel like y'all just like lying.

Y'all like lying. You like being upset. You like talking about how you want to be by yourself. You're happy with your singleness. You want all this other stuff. You want the soft life, but I feel like you are all lying because you are hyperfocused on some of these white jobs out here. You're hyper-focused on talking about how you want the psych life, soft life that you like being outraged. You talk about all these things. Stop.

You know what else we're gonna talk about? Things like when people who don't look like us try to come for us, they know that if they can trigger black women, it's going to give them engagement. Let me tell you something. When people are mad at other people, I don't stitch their stuff. I don't make reference to their stuff half the time. I don't even name their name because I don't want to give them any shine. I don't try to get you to go look them up or anything.

Don't do it. So I get it. Many of you need to engage in some of that for, for I guess clicks and views. I guess maybe this is how you eat. I don't know. So I guess maybe I'm not in the, maybe I'm the wrong person to say this. Let me tell you something. This channel I have right here, I don't eat off of it. I probably will never eat off of it. I'm just out here running my mouth, blah, blah, blah because I just had something to say and then I hop off. That's literally what it is.

I don't even have the hours that you guys have to sit out here on these apps listening to a bunch of silly people all day, day in, day out, corrupting your mind instead of actually reading to educate yourself instead of doing something to better yourself. You would rather sit on this app all day every day, listening to a bunch of other people talk like me. But you should listen to all my stuff 'cause I'm a full on hypocrite. Go look at all my videos. I I'm a pull.

You need to go ahead and look at all my videos, but stop looking at everybody else's videos, okay? You look, you cannot sit there and let these other people, you know, when I say these other people, there's all kinds of groups that are out there. I remember there was a group of I, think Asian women had gotten on TikTok taking shots at black women beauty standards. I can't believe they're doing this and they're lining their lists or whatever.

I'm like, I guarantee you it's gonna be a trend again, because it's an old trend. We don't worry about what you guys do for your beauty standards. We don't worry about the fact that you want to go bleach your skin and get your eyes redone and stuff like that. That is in your culture. In our culture we like lips. B lips, okay? What I'm saying is I don't knock their beauty standard. That's their beauty standard. Their ideas of what is considered beautiful. Okay? And so they do things that make them feel good.

And so circling black back to black women, when when I saw that thing come out and the women, there were women coming at black women, I'm just sitting there thinking like you don't explain yourself to, in that instance it, they don't matter. We have our own beauty standard. We're not trying to set standards based off of the European ideal. These are our features. These are things that we like. When I think about how people are, are like who sample the whole box phrase thing.

I know there's this whole thing out now. There's a woman who doesn't look like me claiming she wants, she knows what she's doing. She wants the engagement. She knows that it's appropriation. And I actually learned something this morning too because I knew that braid had significance. One of the ladies that looked like me got on and said, let me tell you what the significance of braid are during slavery time. She said, when you see like the little zigzags and stuff that meant that, hey look silly person if you wanna go escape. Not, they're not silly for wanting to escape, but basically saying like, look, don't be silly and not know that there's rivers around here.

So you wanna swim. Okay, this is for you. If not, you need to go home. She said like with the cornrows, it signified, you know how it looks like little xs or whatever. She said with the cornrows, it signified soldiers and you got soldiers around here, all the, those that represented people. And then the ban two knots, it represented like, hey, this is like some rocky terrain. You've got like mountains and that type of thing.

And the point she was making is that braids had the way we wore hair had significance, and then we were told to cover it up. So then we started wrapping our hair. So we kinda way, the point I'm making is when she engages, she's saying, Hey, this is why you shouldn't engage in wearing grades, whatever, right? Because this is the significance of what it meant. Other people wanna get out on that app and just start wind and crying and be like, oh my gosh, I can't believe you're doing this.

I'm like, I don't engage people. Do not stitch, attach any other shenanigans. This is why I say I. think black women like being outraged and everybody in the free world gets it. So they're like, let me attack a black woman. We know they're going to be outraged and we'll get the engagement. We'll get the engagement. They're either gonna respond to us, they're gonna stitch us, they're gonna make videos about us, they're gonna be pissed off. Me.

I'm Patty, I'm my way Patty. I'm like, I won't stitch, I won't engage. I'll just reference. There's a reason why when I get out here on these apps, a lot of times I just reference scenarios. I don't stitch shenanigans. I don't, I don't give you any. But I don't even name your name at the time unless it's like I, I have to really wanna name your name, right? But if I think that what you're doing is really harmful or whatever, I absolutely will not. I'll just say, Hey, on TikTok, there were people who were doing X, Y, and Z.

Generally speaking, that's what I do. Once in a while, I might call out somebody specifically, but I think y'all just like being upset. You engage everything. Not everything is an engagement. If someone is a dingdong, you gotta look and be a think don by themselves. You have to, you know what it's like when somebody says something, if they're taking a shot or whatever and they're looking for a response, and I give people no responses and it falls dead. And I looked at crickets.

I, the, the silence is deafening. The silence is actually speaking. If you think about it, I just kind of touch Dick myself. I said, it's kind of like an oxymoron to say the silence is deafening, but the silence is loud. Like, what did I just say? I'm messing myself up. What do do I, you guys get my point, just had a full on oxymoron in the span of about 10 seconds. So look, y'all need to stop being outraged over everything Everyone knows at the look.

If we want something to be a trend, if we want something to go viral, you gotta raise a black woman. Stop being enraged over everything. Stop engaging everything. Every time I see something where somebody is being a full on racist or whatever, and it's not for me to engage everything because I'm tired, I am tired, I'm so tired of like, like I don't wanna be enraged or outraged over anything.

It's not what it be. We all get to choose how we wanna show up in this world. Everyone, you get to choose how you want to show up in this world. So they also get to choose to be thumb bumps. If you are to like, if they're gonna engage with us, you're gonna explain because maybe you think people really don't know. That's one thing I think most people know. Most people know what they're doing.

This is why you don't engage certain material. So getting back to my whacked out weirdo women now, because y'all are doing too much, you need to figure out what your messaging is. What, what is the message? I'm confused it. I'm all the way confused because I hear so much of I am living self life. I am so happy on being single.

I'm so happy to be this and I love being black and all this other stuff. I mean, as soon as someone tries to say something that's contrary to what it is that you report reporting recording, that's good to word. Anyway. As soon as someone says something that's contrary to what it is that you say, you stand for you, you don't wanna be outraged. Y'all wanna have a full on conversation. I'm like, don't, don't engage that.

Most people know exactly what they're doing. Don't engage it. I I, I don't tell you right now, there's very few times that you're gonna see me actually engage about a particular thing. Like they give too much shine or something. I, I will talk about the scenario, but I don't typically link to anything that they've got going. Oh, I, I just don't, I, I say on TikTok, this is what I'm seeing. And if, for those of you who never understand what I'm saying, go to TikTok and do a search or whatever, and then trust me, you'll get plenty of things on whatever topic I talk about whenever I'm on.

I didn't really get a chance to look at it yesterday. Stop letting these people get you guys all wrapped up. Or y'all need to stop telling people that you're, you're blessed and highly favored. You're living this style life. You're happy, you're single and happy. All these things. I'm like, because everything you say seems to be the complete opposite based off your actions. Isn't that like the true definition of cognitive dissonance? Because what you're saying is not matching your actions.

Y'all love being outraged. You really, really do love being outraged. Now look, I'm getting ready to even go into my full on hypocritical segment because I tell people they need to get off of these podcasts and, and go get a life. There's an exception. Look at all my videos because I'm amazing in every way. You could do no wrong. Look at all my videos.

Good comment on all of them. That's just where I'm at with it. Yeah. So like I, think my videos are what they are. I don't know. They are what they are. I'm gonna be honest. I know the videos that I make, I probably will suffer a little bit. There's a couple of reasons why. One, I don't put a ton into the production value, right? Because I don't have those kinds of cycles.

It is 6 0 8 in the morning and I'll be getting outta my car in approximately 10 minutes. 'cause I should have gotten up earlier. but I didn't want to. So that's that. Number two, the topics that I speak on are not super salacious and that's for a reason. One, a section for a couple reasons. I think I must have a DD. Half of that stuff I don't care about, like I don't care.

And number two, I think that we have a responsibility to create alternative content, right? So I don't wanna typically engage in the same, I don't know, video making, making the, make video, making content. There's enough people out there doing that. It's not necessarily bad, it's just that we need to have other things. Okay? So that's the reason why I understand that. My, my, I don't spend a whole lot of production time on videos.

And number two, the context that I make, I, I just don't want to engage in a ton of content making that's based off of current events all the time. Because much of it I don't care. I'll give you an example. You haven't seen me make a video on Diddy because I don't care. I don't care. He's probably going to jail. The facts came looking around and at his stuff, he's probably going to jail all and all. Y'all report on all that stuff.

I don't really care. I just don't care. So I haven't really clicked on anything. Maybe I will today just to see what's going on. but I mean I just feel like my inner a DD just is like, no one cares. He's not a good guy, so I'll just wait for the headlines to come out. I don't know, it's just not that interesting. I don't, I don't wanna get involved. That's just where I'm at with it. That's where I'm at with it. I'd rather think and learn about something else when I'm out here on these apps, honestly, I look up other things that are really interesting.

Some of this like creative and craft type stuff that I'm never gonna do, but I just like to watch it being done. Number two, I like to look up things on. I'm like, I'm obsessed with these lions and cubs in Africa. Sometimes I rewatch the same videos. I don't know why I am acting like a ding dong, but I love the lions and the Cubs. Okay? I love the lions and the cubs. I'll look up things on philosophy. I look up things on religion because I do find it to be quite interesting.

I look up things on all kinds of things. Some of it's sports related, it could be lacrosse related. That's just where my head is. So when I see all the headlines, some of the calls about Diddy and I don't know whoever's surrounding him, I actually tend to just flip right or scroll right by it because I don't care. There's enough people reporting on it. If I listen to a current, like if I listen to like a gossip block or something like that, I'll catch it then I think I've caught some of it.

Now when you hear like clips from other people, otherwise, I don't care. I don't care. I don't wanna care. I just don't care. Let me tell you what, I tend to flip by a lot, a whole lot of panels where black men and women get up on panels and, and, and people are like willfully ignorant. Some of it is so dumb. Some of it's so ignorant that it's ignorant. Like I, I'm just kinda like, oh my gosh, it is hard for me to sit there and watch the, the silliness, right?

It's like I suffer secondhand embarrassment all the time. So I typically don't like watching, seeing a bunch of dudes get up there asking some of the most ridiculous questions. They look like they're not well groomed. You got the women with all their TNA out and, and just, I don't understand, like And, they just wanna sit there and, and act like they're drop in knowledge. I, none of them are in relationships I don't think. And if they are, they've all been divorced or I, I don't know.

I, I just can't, not to say that there isn't wisdom in those who've gone through divorce because they can really actually give you some good information too. But a lot of the, I just feel like this is so dumb to me. Very, they, they've got people sitting up on panels still talking about gender divorce stuff. When we got kids who are dumb kids who don't have food. We got kids who are not doing well in school, but we'd rather get up on panels and talk about submission.

I'm like, oh my gosh. Or, or I need a traditional woman or model woman. This, I'm like, it is the most embarrassing discussion to have. It is so embarrassing. So I, I can't even watch it. They would rather talk about that than try to come up with solution to why they, they can't read. And sooner I'm at with it. all right, it's six 14 and I should probably get off of this app because I will be taking my exit in probably a minute, actually in one month.

So I need to get off so I can get my mind right, subscribe to my channel and, and watch all my videos.
