Speaker 1 (0s): All right ties. I know I don't come on here as often because I don't want to, I just, this, I just was like exhausted with talking about some of the stuff that's going on. So I just chose not to, but I wanna welcome you if you're new to my channel and As black opinionated woman also bottle. So let's jump right on into it. My, my cousin by marriage, my cousin, one of the funniest guys in the world, by the way, we don't get together as often. You know what?
I need to tell my husband that we need to sync up because he gives me a couple of hee haws, right? This guy is so funny. Hey, shout out. 'cause you know who you are if you're watching. He posed a question to me about the RG three situation. Now, I, I really haven't said much about it. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, RG three got out here on Jesus's internet and started going in on Angel race. Now, why did I not weigh in on that?
I, I simply just didn't want to. Now, I'm not so sure if many of you, for those of you who are new, you probably don't know this, but I've said a long time ago, I used to say that the men really need to be checking the men and women need to check women. For example, I'm not really here to check women per se, but I, I had a, a video, I did a video where I was talking about the whole to Tokyo Tony, Beyonce situation. Now, ultimately, if I'm being honest, do what you want on how you raise your children.
But I had responded to the Tokyo Tony ramp on Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy. Okay? So that was Discourse that's centered around women. So I chose to go there. And that doesn't mean that I won't have, you know, conversations or videos about men, but I tend to want to leave that to the men. Why? Because I feel like in our community, we don't know how to talk to each other. We don't, right?
Men are just, I'm gonna get into that in a second. There, there's something going on with the men and the women too, but it's most of the men that's out here on social media having all of these takes, right? If you look at it, the data shows that men are on social media twice as much as women. They're the, they're like, like if my, my, I haven't looked at my analytics in a while. Most of my analytics are men. I want you to let that one sink in. So the way I look at it is like, men don't know how to talk to women these days.
So they shouldn't be talking to women in terms of trying to, well, I, I say that lightly. I mean, it's not that they can't, but, you know, women know how to talk to women better than men. I talk to men. That didn't come out the way I wanted it. That came out all wrong. The point is, is I think women should be talking to women right now, that that's where I'm at with it. Because we don't want someone constantly coming at us with a bunch. That doesn't mean that we're not being accountable, but there's a way that you can talk to someone with love and care and still be like, nononsense.
Like this isn't it? Whereas I find that these men under the guise of keeping it real or, or being accountable, they want to tear you down And they want to denigrate And they take pleasure in it. It's like shattered fraud, okay? And so that's the reason why I was like, okay, we, we've gotta start putting some boundaries around this. Now, the RG three situation, where I was going with that was there was really no need for me to chime in or weigh in on the RG three, this weirdo situation, because I thought the men did a decent job of weighing in and checking in.
And although we still have a contingent of men out there who are clearly as like, like they're conquered men, right? And or as Ryan Clark sent about RG three compromised, and it's not necessarily because of who he dates, let's be clear. It's, it's, it's, it's, there's a lot of things that are associated with them. He listen to the takes. So I feel like we're starting to see, and I could be wrong, maybe an awakening with men who look like me.
So I'm seeing now men get out here on Jesus's internet And they are providing thought, some, some thoughtful commentary and checking. So there was really no need for me to get out here. Like, let me tell you about rtt. I, and then to be honest, and then it's the petty part of me. I'm like, I don't care about what that monster makes. Right? So let, let me say this, since I'm on a good grant this morning, I made the comment to one of my coworkers that men who look like an RG three, a Shannon Sharp, a Terrell Owens, I wouldn't even put in there, but I, the guy, when I say men who look like that, meaning if you look at, look at RG three, Terrell Owens, Shannon Sharp, they have very strong African features, right?
Very pronounced features. They have a certain look like, like a, a, a Travis Hunter. So I find that it's just my phone, the freaking, alright, this is the whole situation here. This was not clicked incorrectly. Y'all gonna start laughing at me. I'm like a disaster right now. Okay? Did I clap? Fit in? Okay, let's try this again. So men, so men who look like a Travis, hunter, Shannon Sharp, all these athletes, they have a particular look.
I mean, there's, there's exceptions to every rule. Okay? So I'm just taking the cross section and if this doesn't apply, let it fly. Get out your feelings. But I am seeing consistently men who look like that, right? They have these strong African teachers, right? What happens is, and the things that they're saying, listen to what they're saying and look at what they do. They perform or, And they, they, they act a certain kind of way. So it's not surprising to me, you know, I know what stereotyped him, but he, he pro proves me, right?
Right. They, they do certain things and many of them have this struggle with who they are, their, their, their ethnicity, their their blackness, or whatever it is like that. So for me, I don't care to dedicate many cycles to men who have had a lifelong struggle with their identity. I'll let men deal with that. Or people who are much more trained individuals who, because I, I just feel like some people can't perceive.
But honestly, I don't feel the need to try to convince someone otherwise they gotta do the work And they don't want to. They don't want to. And there's so many layers to this and deep dive on, you know, what's that like, and, and how they are validating themselves, stuff like that, based off of what they think is the standard and stuff like that. And not knowing what the real standard is. And there's a whole bunch of stuff that goes into it, right?
So, but it's not for me. So that's one of the reasons why I don't, I don't like to engage in anything when it comes with the black man. And they, I don't, I don't even care. I'm like, he's a, as you say, compromised individual. And it's not because of who he dates, it's his whole mindset. He's a conquered man. They leave on a day. I don't care. It has nothing to do with me. I just say they choose a certain type today.
And then when everything hits the fan, they wanna keep going back. And I overcome it singing, you know, spirituals. And I'm like, I, I don't, I sing contemporary gospel music. You know? So I, I'm just kind of like, I don't like to really engage in that, but also I'm like irritated anyway, because if I were to make a response to RG three, like, which I'm doing now, obviously only because I've been asked and I didn't, if, you know, I didn really deep dive too much on it.
This is the thing. By the time you, you, you do that, and maybe I shouldn't like put the SEO or whatever on it, but when you do those things, it gets into my algorithm a lot, right? I'm already irritated because like my, I work hard on my TikTok and, and, and YouTube algorithms, right? So for example, I'm irritated because on the one hand it is good commentary. If you wanna dedicate a couple of seconds, listen to listen to people talk about the RG three situation.
But then the problem is for every one decent video that you watch or or TikTok that you view, you get more of them. It certain, a lot of 'em are like stupid things. For example, you, I, this morning I woke up, I got on TikTok for a couple minutes while I was making coffee or whatever like that. I literally, I don't even think I was on for like two minutes and maybe three, I, I don't know, whatever, however long it took for me to make coffee, right?
And there was like all this comment on like, why people are asking why do black men, white women? And I'm like, I don't care. So I'm scrolling up and it's more of it. So I'm like, I don't want that in my algorithm. I don't want that in my feed. I'm not trying to date a white woman. I'm not trying to date anybody other than my husband. I got all I can handle. He's got all he can handle. 'cause I'm amazing in every way because do problem, where I'm going with it is it now pollutes your freaking FYP or YouTube, your YouTube your YouTube algorithm.
It's so annoying. And then on top of that, you start getting the, the silly like videos on like why there's this loneliness epidemic. Now I wanna, I wanna pause here. I wanna, I wanna, I wanna sit here for a second. The loneliness epidemic, it's only for the men. You don't see women getting out here on the internet talking about, I'm just so lonely. At least I haven't.
And I don't go looking for the male loneliness epidemic. Now I do believe there is a loneliness thing happening with these men. That's why they're also angry. Now. Yes, I said they're all, but you understand, I shouldn't have to cl do a whole bunch of qualifying by saying, some men are, you understand where I'm going? We're gonna all be smart here. That's the reason why there's men who are trying to take themselves out. That's the reason why they are trying to get into like, they're engaging in these echo chamber conversations about eliminate this.
And it's not just about black women, it's all women. But like, they get into these echo chambers, they all wanna go overseas And they cause problems overseas. And then they wonder why the women over there are sitting there just taking their money. They think that they're getting somebody submissive. And those girls are like, let me tell you, they are like sophisticated in the game that they run. I'm sitting here like, I don't wanna hear. But it's, it's not that it's not important, but I'm like, these men need to figure out how to solve it. Then in, and, and so when I think about like, men like me now, and of course they go after certain types, I'm like, I think a lot of it's just because they weren't taught how to be leaders.
They weren't taught. And many of them don't know how to be someone that a woman can look up to or, or, or to provide. So then they, they take this other route where, because they don't know how to do those things, and especially if they're an athlete, they have thrown into this stardom and into all this, this, this money. And now because they've never learned how to handle that, they feel like now they gotta get something else.
And then they wound up getting fleed. Just go look at the data. What happens to NBA marriages after they stop working and all stuff like that. Anyway, there's so much that goes into it. So I don't like putting out like, kind of crap in my algorithm. I, I'm like, look, y'all need to start figuring some things out. So now you got all these people sitting up here on these panels. White men, black men, your men, my men. Everybody's been, everybody's down here on these panels, whatever, talking about the male loneliness epidemic.
It's not really for me. And it's like, you know, I listen to it a little bit. I do believe that there's something to it, but they need to go solve it now. But the, but what happens is you get all these men out here who have a podcast and, and a microphone, And they wanna start talking to all the things that why, why, why the men are this way. I'm like, it somehow also goes back to black women. So this is the reason why I don't wanna hear that. You know what I wanna watch on my FYP page? I wanna know how you're growing those potatoes in the box.
I wanna see the lion in the Serengeti. You understand what I mean? I like how people can make candles out of like oil and water and using old wax. There's people who make candles outta bacon grease. Like, I wanna see some cool stuff. You know, what I've got on my, my YouTube. But, you know, and I was just for stuff, I, I was like, I like all this nerdy stuff. Like I, I follow their potassium or like stuff that they talk about with the brain. Like they talk about things like, Hey, is this really, well this is a different channel.
It might have been B sauce, I can't remember. They'd be like, is this chair I talk about, like, I like to look up things like identity in terms of like when something has a replica of itself, then it's really itself, it's not separate. Like all these things basically law of identity, stuff like that. I like looking up just some different kind of stuff, like stuff on space or whatever, right? I like to pl my palette. Now I know many, many people probably clicked out this video at this point, but where I'm going with it is I don't wanna constantly be inundated with the angry black man plight.
I got my own plan as a black woman. I literally have my own plan as a black woman. And I am learning to throw some things over the boat. And it's not that I don't care, but a lot of the people who are out here on the internet and in these streets are just psychotic and weird. And they're not looking for real Discourse. They're just looking to get off. I'm like, well, you gotta go talk to yourself. Argue with yourself. I don't wanna argue. I just wanna see the lions and the Serengeti. That that's all I want. The Serengeti, the lions, the Serengeti.
So that's where I'm at with it. I wanna go stress over my kids. I'm always thinking about something. I'm always scheming up something. I'm like, we need to be doing this. You know, I don't feel like getting into this ridiculous Discourse with men. Men need to check RG three. They seem to be doing a decent job of it. I'm just at the point where I'm like, I gotta let people be where they are. You think black women are the downfall, whatever, or we're we're the problems for everything?
Fine, fine. Don't deal with them. Go be our street. Don't deal. Don't, don't deal with, I don't care. Let the whole look, let the whole case go stink. All I can, I'm just like, I'm not taking on that burden. I am not. So you guys can get out there and, and, and get your hee hauls with yourself and you can go become a self looking ice cream cone and be there to just serve yourself. I don't care. Like, I literally don't care because all I wanna do is watch the lions in the freaking Sergei.
That's what I wanna watch. I wanna watch things on space and, and all these really cool facts. And I wanna see the videos on how many numbers are between one and two. Like what is infinity? I wanna blur out on things like that. I wanna read other books, listen to other books. You know, the other day I was just listening to a book on Audible. It was called The Night of the Long Night of the Long Knives or something, something like that.
It was about like stuff that happened with the Nazis and Adolf Hitler, how he got rid of, I cannot remember the name of the group. He took him out 'cause he wanted his power. Not long the lines or something like that. Someone recommended that to me. I would rather learn something else than to sit here like I'm doing now, rambling about the male loneliness epidemic or black men in their issues for why they think, I mean, go date him.
I don't care. Go do it. What does that have to do with me? I don't want it in my thing. I don't, I don't care because those are the kind of men I'm not trying to date. Number one. I'm, I'm already married. Number two, I'm not trying to date a white woman. Also, I don't care. Like, I just don't care. So he wants to come after Angel Reese, you know that this guy is a full on clown. So I don't know why we continue to, well I'm glad that they call him out, but I know I wouldn't give him too many platforms.
No, only thing he needs to talk about is football. And he didn't even have that story of, of, of NL barrier. He got injured, I got a Heisman and then he got injured. Doesn't like himself. Lot of these guys out there on television don't even like themselves. So I don't expect for them to like angels. So I don't, you know, look, if we know what, what it is. So I'll say this, I don't wanna dedicate mental cycles, something like that.
I don't, there are people who can do that. I just wanna buy and some other things in feed things with cats. Some dogs that need me get my gig. My, I watch lacrosse. I watched, you know, sports clips, which is how we sub of the three situation. Yeah, that, that's where I'm at with it. A lot of times I don't care.
So what's happening now was a lot of times when I start seeing certain things I have to just swipe on. You know, I, I engaged a little bit on the Mark Lamont hill thing, just because I found there to be humor in watching these wannabe intellectual men up on a panel sound psychotic. They, they're, it's just, it just gives secondhand embarrassment. And this is what we put out here for people to consume. And now this is this, this is our representation. Nevertheless, I found them to be entertaining.
Mark Lamont, I I just feel like you can't save them. They cannot be saved. Why are you even on that panel with a bunch of weirdos? I, I honestly think that is his, his, his, his bookshelf might have a bunch of cat in the hat series books on it. 'cause he claims he reads a lot. Maybe he does what I'm making. I don't wanna hear about a lot of this stuff because it's just so dumb. It's so, it's the secondhand embarrassment I get from listening to people on these, these podcasts and stuff like that.
Anyway, let me circle it back and I'll end this here. The reason why you did not see any sort of real commentary about the RG three situation was chose to comment on there, did a decent job. As I've said in previous videos a long time ago, black women need to start having and checking black women because black men don't know how to talk to black women right now. They haven't been taught. So you can hold someone accountable without denigrating them.
And then black men need to check black men as they, they get off on tearing things down, tearing each other. They need to check each other in that manner. There's no need for me to get out here and have these conversations about RG three and his weird mouth. Like, I, I don't care. I don't, I just don't argue. Like, let them check him. It was interesting Discourse. But like I said, he's a, as gie as Brian Clark said, he's a compromised person, I think, I think he's a comforted person. So sitting here putting any value in what that ding dong has to say does nothing for me.
All right? I am going to disconnect was way too long of a video. I just wanted to say that it was just a whole bunch of just me giving opinions on whether it's the male loneliness epidemic, RG three, and just overall Discourse in the community as we've learned here. I just want to see lions in the Serengeti and, and sports and space stuff and things that tickle the brain. I don't want to focus on why a whole bunch of angry black men want to get online and say stupid things.
But I am glad that we have people like Dr. Mark Lamont Hill or Ryan Clark or whatever there to counterbalance some of these really like lame dudes. It's necessary. They need more of it. But since there's like only like handful and a sea of like, of a bunch of dumb dumbs, I'm just like, I, I cannot. I just cannot. So I don't know, think what you want to think about me.
It is what it is. And go ahead and subscribe. I can get the words out, subscribe to my channel. I'm like a pull on hypocrite. I'm like, get over of these podcasts, but subscribe to my, subscribe to my channel. Send all your friends, all that good stuff because I'm practically perfect in every way and can do no wrong. Right? All right, until next time....
